We use a secure website called Patient Access which provides:
- Booking & Cancellation of Appointments (currently suspended during Coronavirus Restrictions)
- Ordering of Repeat Prescriptions
- Change of Patient Details including Name, Address & Telephone Numbers
To access this service you will need to register for an account prior to your first log in.
How to Register for Patient Access
For security reasons you must prove your identity to the reception staff who will then supply a registration document with personalised access code.
(You can only apply in person and we require photo-ID for the person making the application or alternatively a birth certificate if no photo ID is available. Once a patient reaches their 16th Birthday they will be required to Register themselves for an access code, to comply with confidentiality regulations) - this is currently relaxed to allow patients easier access to online requests.
Requesting your Prescriptions Online
You are able to request your Repeat Prescription using Patient Access. Any item not on your repeat slip should not be requested this way, but on our Prescription Line 0141 207 7485.
Once logged in, you will be able to view a list of your "repeat medications". You can see when they were last ordered, and view information about your current dosage. You can select from the available medications and order another supply.
This request will be processed within 2 working days. You will be able to see when the request has been processed and accepted by logging back in.
