Cancelling an Appointment
If you are unable to attend for your appointment please tell us in good time so that we are able to offer another patient the use of that appointment.
We can offer your appointment to someone else and therefore help to reduce waiting times.
As part of our commitment to all our patients we monitor the efficient use of appointments. If a patient regularly fails to attend a booked appointment, the practice reserves the right to remove them and their family from the practice list.
You can use our online services to book and cancel appointments, request repeat prescriptions and update your contact details. To register for this service you need a form which can be obtained from the practice.
Once you have your username and password you can login using the icon below
We aim to offer all requests an appointment with a GP within 2 working days of the request, this will be an appointment with the first available GP and may not be the GP you prefer. If you do require to see a specific doctor you are advised to book in advance.
We will always endeavour to let you book an appointment with the doctor of your choice at a time that suits you best. This is obviously not always possible especially at times of high demand (usually around the holiday periods) and when doctors are on holiday. If Doctor or Nurse asks you to make a return appointment please do so in good time, do not leave it too late.
Did you know that you can book appointments up to 4 weeks in advance?
We are constantly reviewing the appointment system to offer a range of availability. Appointments to see our Practice Nurse or Health Care Support Worker are all pre bookable.
Urgent (Same Day) & Emergency Appointments
If you feel your condition is severe and you cannot wait for a routine appointment you must explain this to our receptionists.
They may offer you a same day appointment, routine appointment or a home visit. Please give as much detail as possible to our receptionists and remember they bound by the same rules of confidentiality as our GP's and Nurses.
